Between 2013 and 2018, Green Acres Mall experienced a significant period of transition and enhancement, notably marked by its acquisition by Macerich and the subsequent development and opening of Green Acres Commons in 2016. These large-scale changes, involving renovations and new construction within and adjacent to a high-traffic shopping destination, necessitated stringent environmental safety protocols. IPR Associates & Environmental was brought on board to provide critical Asbestos Inspection and Third-Party Air Monitoring services, ensuring that all development activities prioritized the health and safety of workers, tenants, and the public.
Our team conducted extensive asbestos inspections throughout various phases and areas of the mall complex. This included assessing existing structures slated for renovation or demolition and areas impacted by new construction.
